The External File Link add-on allows users to link files stored on their local computer or server in the eLabJournal ELN file section. This add-on requires the installation of eLabWebEdit (Windows) or eLabConnect (Mac).
Please note that this add-on is not GLP compliant as it only stores the link to files stored in external servers. Changing or moving files at the external location will break the link and audit trail to this file.
