Who are you?

  • You’ve studied in the field of Biology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related or have at least 3 years of working experience in a similar field.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in a similar role.
  • We will consider work experience in a laboratory environment as a plus
  • You are customer-oriented and outgoing
  • You have an entrepreneurial attitude, and you can deal with a significant amount of autonomy and independence
  • You quickly make contact with stakeholders at all levels within an organization
  • You also have the attitude to help others to do great
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in German and English, we see Dutch as a bonus

What are you going to do?

Your job as our Sales Manager is to drive the sales of our products by closing contracts with our clients and partners in the DACH region. The purpose of your role, together with your team, is to achieve market share gains and secure long-term profitability and sustainable growth so we can keep helping scientists elevating their life science research.

Together with your team lead (Global Sales Director), you determine the global sales strategy and translate this to into a plan for the DACH region, including sales targets. You will have the responsibility for the P&L and budget of the DACH region.

Due to your past lab experience, you can guide and advise the client regarding optimizing and digitizing their lab workflows.

We are a scaling-up organization. You will play both a strategic and hands-on role. You will lead the DACH sales team, which currently consists of one other team member, but will grow over the upcoming period. At the same time, you will be responsible for handling the key accounts in the DACH region.
