As an Information Security Officer, you are the primary (and secondary) point of contact for all security matters. You are a proactive individual who knows how to navigate through an organization. You take initiative and are comfortable making independent decisions. Your entrepreneurial spirit ensures that eLabNext’s security environment is up-to-date and compliant with the latest laws and regulations. You engage in frequent communication with IT departments to ensure the security of our platform. You possess a strategic mindset and are unafraid to implement changes with your critical eye. After all, you are the expert!
As an Information Security Officer at eLabNext, you ensure our compliance with the ISO 27001 certification framework. You report to senior management. Your daily tasks include writing and maintaining security policies outlined in the ISO 27001 certification, conducting security risk assessments, and developing the vision and strategy for security and eLabNext’s future. Additionally, you ensure compliance with GDPR, privacy laws, and data storage laws for ISO 27001 certification. You train, coach, and enhance the security awareness of all colleagues, and you conduct IT penetration tests to evaluate security. You ensure the proper creation and maintenance of policy documentation. Our organization is ISO certified, and as an Information Security Officer, you ensure all aspects align with ISO certification standards.
