Account Manager (f/m/d)

Your role:

Your purpose as an Account Manager at eLabNext is to drive the sales of our products by closing contracts with our clients and partners. You will offer valuable advice and advice to our customers about digital lab solutions and our eLabNext products. You will onboard new clients and set up accounts. During this process, you will also guide and advise the client regarding optimizing workflows and implementing the eLabNext applications. Your focus area will be Europe.

With our software solutions, we help modern scientists in R&D laboratories of academic institutes, pharma, biotech companies, and start-ups in the process of digitizing their workflows. We facilitate our clients to exploit the enormous potential of life sciences and to accelerate research. We believe that we contribute to the added value that life sciences research can offer our world and work hand in hand with researchers to enable discoveries in various fields such as, but not limited to cancer research, the production of sustainable food in areas where cultivation seems impossible, or the development of COVID-19 vaccines.

Your Accountabilities:

  • Contacting potential clients who have questions about our product
  • Advising potential clients on the most suitable solution
  • Giving (online) product demonstrations and doing client visits
  • Determining and evaluating clients wishes as a sales opportunity
  • Writing and following up (tender) quotes
  • Closing and processing sales orders
  • Supporting prospects during trials – evaluation of requests before forwarding to support
  • Preparing and planning of server installations, training (key) users, and activation of licenses (Project management)
  • Managing installation projects (stakeholder management)
  • Identifying client needs and issues in current workflows
  • Advising on optimizations in lab workflows
  • Actively engage in meetings and discussions about lab digitization

  • Growth in open leads and sales opportunities
  • Developing a personal network
  • Expanding on existing client base by growth in the number of client referrals or sales resulting from client referrals
  • Growth in Net Promotor Score
  • Growth in revenues

Who are you?

To ensure that eLabNext can continue to deliver top quality, we are looking for candidates who meet at least the following criteria:

  • You are customer-oriented and outgoing
  • You have an entrepreneurial attitude, and you can deal with a significant amount of autonomy and independence
  • You’ve studied in the field of Biology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related with experience in laboratory work environments
  • You easily make contact with stakeholders at all levels within an organization
  • You also have the essential attitude to help others to do great
  • You have proficient written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English (German and French will be considered a big plus)
  • You are available for 4-5 days per week (0,8-1,0 FTE)

You will work in an international working and start-up environment within a continuously growing organization where we will give you a lot of autonomy. You will be going to work within our Sales team, which currently consists of four other team members. Our headquarters is in Groningen, and we have 2 sales offices in Boston, US. You will work out of Groningen.
